SPRING 2024 OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS — Innovate Grant

Innovate Grant awards (2) $1,800.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition, (12) honorable mentions (6 in art and 6 in photo), will be featured on our website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant’s commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future.

Springboard for the Arts – Rural Regenerator Fellowship

Artists, culture bearers, grassroots organizers, and other changemakers from Upper-Midwestern rural communities will receive an unrestricted stipend of $10,000 to participate in two years of peer learning and exchange.

SPRING/BREAK Art Show — INT./EXT. (interior/exterior)

The curator-driven art fair seeks exhibitions for its NYC show this fall. The theme is INT./EXT. (interior/exterior), inspired by exploring more than meets the eye. The application fee is $150.

National Parks Arts Foundation – Chaco Culture National Historic Park Artists Residency
Open to artists working in any medium, this month-long residency in October 2024 includes a $2,000 stipend and housing at an ancient metropolis in New Mexico, one of the vital crossroads of Anasazi-Chacoan culture. The application fee is $60.

NYC DOT Art Community Commissions

Collaborates with community-based organizations to commission artists to design and install temporary public art on NYC DOT infrastructure citywide. Artists are invited to submit proposals of temporary, sight-specific artwork. NYC DOT Art will provide $20,000 toward direct project costs, engineering and operational support.

Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts and Agriculture – Artist Residency Programs

US – Based creative practitioners exploring the multifaceted dimensions of Care and Stewardship (this year’s residency theme) can apply for two to four week self-directed, stipend-supported residencies in Sisters, Oregon.

Queer | Art – Illuminations Grant

Awarded to draw attention to an existing body of work, this annual $10,000 grant is intended to support and shed light on Black trans women visual artists. Four finalists will also each receive $1,250.

Indigo Arts Alliance – Mentorship Residency Program

Open to New England residents, IAA studio access and pairs up artists for a co-mentorship. Thai partnership fosters creative exchange for Black and Brown artists, enriching participants’ cultural and artistic perspectives.
