SPRING/BREAK expands its program to include individual artists as part of its curated platform. Artists may apply for the Artist Spotlight section, which grants any selected artists the opportunity to exhibit during the NYC show as a solo exhibition or part of a salon group show. Application fee is $30.

The Queer|Art Design Grant – Queer|Art
The Queer|Art Design Grant is a new initiative supporting projects that explore queer histories, legacies, and futures. The program will award two $10,000 USD grants to emerging queer creatives across the design industry, making it the largest cash grant for LGBTQ+ designers in the country. The Queer|Art Design Grant provides critical support to US-based designers working across a variety of disciplines, including graphic design, architecture, landscape architecture, industrial/product design, fashion, textile, wearables, digital design, service design, furniture/home decor, materials research, interior design, and more.

Art at a Time Like This — Take One Action
Open call for brave poitical images and ideas of civic actions to save democracy. Selected artists will join a public art campaign this fall and/or be featured in an online exhibition. Honorarium up to $1,000.

Windgate Artist in Residence Fall 2027, Spring 2028 –
University of Arkansas Little Rock
The Windgate Artist in Residence at UA Little Rock is a semester-long residency program open to artists, designers, and craftspeople. This residency offers the selected applicant the opportunity to create work and engage with the School of Art and Design community, as well as the greater Little Rock community. The primary goal of the residency program is to provide time to make and develop work, and the space to make it while interacting with our community. This program provides a $30,000 stipend, housing, funding for materials and travel, studio space, and access to UA Little Rock’s extensive studios. Artists will interact with students through weekly open studio hours, studio visits, and in-class activities (artists will not be required to teach
courses).

Ooika oAir Artist-in-Residency – Ooika
Ooika’s oAir is an artist-in-residence program in Princeton, New Jersey for artist working in photography and lens-based media. Ooika’s focus is on the craftsmanship of Japanese Matcha. The oAir program is meant to foster the same creativity in the United States. Over the month, the artist will have access to a stipend of $3,000, access to an Epson p9000 printer, a fully furnished room, and a private artist studio. Discounts on Ooika Cafes, and free lunches at Honzu. The oAir residency includes an artist talk, work exhibited on the Ooika website and social media, product packaging, and published in the upcoming annual oAir zine. Artists will have structured access to selection committee.
