The Laundromat Project – Create Change Residency

This two-year program supports the development of participatory creative projects by NYC artists of color working within their communities. Each year, up to four residents receive $20,000 honorariums, $10,000 production budgets, and more.

Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program

The Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program is currently accepting applications for its 2026–2027 residency period. The program awards studio space to 17 visual artists for year-long residencies in Brooklyn, New York.

Morgan-Menil Fellowship

Meant for independent research projects on drawing throughout the history of art, this three- to nine-month fellowship includes a monthly stipend of $4,000–$5,100, plus a modest allowance for travel between NYC and Houston, Texas.

Smith College – Assistant Professor of Artist’s Books and Artist’s Publications 

The Department of Art at Smith College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates should have a strong foundation in book arts and publication formats, letterpress, and a variety of printmaking processes.

BCA Longwood Art Gallery – Curatorial Fellowship Open Call

The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) Longwood Arts Project seeks a Bronx-based curatorial fellow for a unique opportunity to engage in the implementation of two exhibitions of the Longwood Art Gallery for 2026. The Fellowship will run from mid-January through mid-July 2026, with an estimated commitment of about two days per week, approximately five hours each day, The Curatorial Fellow will receive a stipend of $4,000.00.

Bobby Anspach Studios Foundation – 2025 Artist Grant Program

Supporting artists who create works that deepen empathy, human connection, and climate awareness. Two $50,000 and three $8,000 unrestricted visual arts grants are available.

Utah Museum of Contemporary Art – Artist-in-Residence Program

This is the only long-term artist residency designed specifically to meet the needs of Utah artists. Residents get one year of free studio space inside UMOCA and an exhibition in the A.I.R. Space Gallery, among other benefits.

Artists & Mothers Grant

This grant supports artists who identify as mothers at an inflection point in their careers. Eligible to NYC artists with children under age three, awardees get $25,000 to be used for childcare expenses with the provider of their choice.
