En Foco’s New Works Photography Fellowship Awards is an annual program selecting U.S. based photographers of Latino, African or Asian heritage, and Native Peoples of the Americas and Pacific, through a free national call for entries. It helps artists to create or complete an in-depth photographic series exploring themes of their choice, and provides the infrastructure needed for national visibility and a professional exhibition of their new work in the New York area.
Submissions for New Works #17, juried by renown photographer educator, and marketing consultant Mary Virginia Swanson will be accepted through June 30, 2013. Please click HERE for details on how to apply.
This exhibition is made possible with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, the Bronx Council on the Arts, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Auchincloss Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, The Bronx Empowerment Zone, Lambent Foundation Fund of Tides Foundation, The Scherman Foundation, NYC Council Members Maria del Carmen Arroyo and James Vacca, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and the Bronx Delegation of the City Council, PDN and Lowepro.
